How do I know?
Sometimes it’s hard to know whether your car needs a mechanic. Regular servicing can often pick up issues before they become a problem we recommend servicing every 6 months or 10,000kms whichever comes first.
If you sense or hear anything you are unsure about it pays to be proactive you can save yourself a lot of money by getting it looked at early.
If there is anything that seems unusual or you are concerned about don’t put it off, better to be safe than sorry!
You can also use your ‘senses’
If you HEAR something different or unique:
- Noise when turning
- Clunking, Clicking or Clacking
- Squeaking
- Leaking air sound
If you SEE anything new
or questionable:
- Leaking
- Flicking
- Unusual or you haven’t previously noticed
If you SMELL anything
unusual:
- Petrol
- Oil
- Rubber
- Burning or overly hot
